So, how do you find the right sustainable product to promote your business?
With over 70,000 products available, including more and more sustainable items each year, it’s not always straightforward – it’s easy to get lost or confused when you search for a keyring, a pencil or a bag, and are met with many options.
Dealing with around 70 UK trade suppliers, the aim of our website is to highlight a few initial images for each type of product as well as giving you the opportunity to visit some of our supplier websites to find whatever you may be searching for. This way, you may find the right product that you may not see from other distributor websites, or in a single brochure.

We want to help you find the right sustainable corporate gifts for your requirements. So, as well as quality and eco friendliness, think about what the most important areas are to consider when ordering corporate gifts and promotional products to give to your customers:
- Suitability for you
- Usefulness / functionality
- Part of a set – ie all in same colour / represent same values
- Price
- Speed of delivery and availability
Will your product be suitable for you?
Will your product be what you expect – ie how it looks on screen or is described? The best way to check this is to request a physical sample (preferably in your desired colour) – that way you can be sure what it looks like and that it will represent your company well. Some samples you will need to pay for (including most non-sustainable samples), but this is better than investing your budget in an order that arrives and you can’t use as it isn’t anything like you thought.
So, where time allows, we always recommend you order a sample – wherever you order your corporate gifts.
Will your product be useful for your customer?
Is there a place for corporate gifts and promotional products that aren’t useful? We are finding that more and more products ordered with us now are sustainable products – either good quality, reusable items (eg an umbrella we offered to our customers in 2012 that is still being used today) or otherwise eco-friendly products that are recycled or recyclable (or both) – and are useful, too – your customer will be more likely to keep an item that they find useful!
Promotional products and corporate gifts that are intended to be of use to their recipients is a key factor, in our view, to great choices.
Take Keyrings for example – why not choose one that also has another use – eg bottle opener, photo holder, usb, torch, trolley coin, reflector, membership tag, spirit level, stress shape, charger, phone stand etc. See some keyring photos on our Keyrings page.
Will your product go well with other products?
When you give more than one product to your customers, it’s ideal if they look part of a set – eg all the same shade/colour (we’ve done lots of work to compare very similar products from different suppliers so our customers can order the shade they require (particularly with notebooks and different coloured cotton bags). See below for some examples that have been ordered where the items came from different suppliers but all look part of a set because of colour and how they’re branded:
Price
As well as the price of the product ordered, don’t forget to take into account the cost of set up per location/side (which can be anything from around £35-£55 per colour (and/or position printed) or £45-£60 for digital branding) and the cost of delivery to your premises in bulk. The size, weight and bulkiness of the item are all important factors to take into account, too, especially if you plan on sending them to your customer rather than giving them to them in person.
Speed of delivery and stock availability
When you order a product, it’s important to know that it’s either in stock or it will arrive before your required date. Some products today are still available on very short lead times, but we also deal with suppliers whose products can take up to 6 months to arrive.
And obviously if you can factor in time to receive a sample first (see above), then that would be recommended and the ideal solution.
